The short version
ApeCheck does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email or wallet. We keep the data we collect to a minimum.
What we collect
Scan activity: which token and wallet addresses are looked up, the resulting score, and which buttons are clicked. This powers the trending, live feed, Hall of Shame and leaderboard features, and our own analytics. It is not linked to your identity.
A referral cookie: if you arrive via a link containing ?ref=<code>, we store that code in a cookie for up to 30 days so scans can be attributed to the person who referred you. It contains no personal information.
Standard server and hosting logs (e.g. IP address for security and rate-limiting), handled by our hosting provider.
What we don't do
We never take custody of funds, never ask you to connect a wallet, and never sell your data. The addresses you scan are public blockchain data, not private information about you.
Third parties
We fetch data from public APIs (DexScreener, RugCheck, GeckoTerminal, Solana RPC) and link to third-party trading platforms with referral codes. Those services have their own privacy policies. Our site is hosted on Vercel.
